The thermal engineer role will focuses on designing and validating advanced thermal solutions for high‑performance server platforms.You will work across functions to ensure system reliability, efficiency, and scalability for data centre deployments.

Job Description

  • Design air and liquid cooling solutions for server systems
  • Perform system‑level thermal architecture trade‑off studies
  • Run thermal simulations using FloTHERM, FloEFD, or similar tools
  • Execute hands‑on thermal testing, validation, and debugging
  • Analyse and resolve complex thermal issues to closure
  • Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and cost targets
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams
  • Manage suppliers and support component selection decisions
  • Prepare technical reports and validation documentation
  • Present thermal solutions to internal and external stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in thermal design or validation
  • Background in server, data centre, NB, DT, AIO or work station development
  • Strong hands‑on thermal testing and debug experience
  • Proficiency with thermal simulation tools
  • Solid system‑level thermal analysis skills
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset
  • Effective communication skills in English



Nice to Have

  • Experience with liquid or advanced cooling technologies
  • Exposure to hyperscale or cloud service provider projects
  • Experience working with global customers or suppliers
