Job Description


    • Define and drive the strategic vision, ambition, and key outcomes for the assigned Disease Area
    • Take accountability for business performance, including delivery of outcomes and contribution to P&L
    • Lead the development and prioritization of disease area strategies and co-create the Busines Plan
    • Support financial planning and resource allocation to enable sustainable, long-term growth
    • Lead and inspire a high-performing cross-functional squad, fostering alignment around shared goals
    • Partner with people leaders to strengthen team capabilities and support talent development
    • Empower team members to make decisions, manage trade-offs, and resolve conflicts effectively
    • Build a collaborative, agile, and continuous learning environment
    • Apply an enterprise mindset to balance competing priorities across the affiliate and portfolio
    • Ensure optimal allocation of resources to deliver short- and mid-term objectives
    • Collaborate with internal partnersto enable effective workplan execution and prioritization
    • Lead resource planning cycles and ensure alignment with BP timelines
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
    • Position the organization as a trusted partner across clinical and non-clinical communities
    • Mobilize internal and external networks to respond to stakeholder needs with speed and impact
    • Facilitate alignment and effective communication across stakeholders to support execution
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared "triple-win" outcomes (patients, partners, business)
    • Promote knowledge sharing and best practice exchange across squads and affiliates
    • Drive a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or related fields
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Life Sciences) preferred
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • Strategic planning and execution
  • Managing senior stakeholders
  • Leading cross-functional teams
  • Resource planning and prioritization
  • Prior leadership experience (formal or informal) preferred
