Job Description

  • Lead R&D activities for catalyst and emission-control technologies.
  • Develop advanced washcoat formulations for gasoline, diesel, CNG and biofuel applications.
  • Design and develop emission after-treatment systems including DOC, DPF and related technologies.
  • Support solutions compliant with BSVI, BSVII, TREM V and CEV emission standards.
  • Manage and mentor multidisciplinary R&D teams.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, testing, manufacturing and process functions.
  • Partner with customers to address technical requirements and develop new business opportunities.
  • Drive innovation, product performance improvement and technology commercialization.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges related to catalyst and system performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Japanese national (mandatory).
  • PhD in Chemistry (mandatory).
  • 15+ years of experience in catalyst technologies, emission control, chemical R&D, or automotive after-treatment systems.
  • Deep expertise in catalyst chemistry, washcoat development, and emissions technologies.
  • Experience with TWC, DOC, DPF, SCR, VOC catalysts, and related applications.
  • Strong understanding of Euro VI, BSVI, BSVII, TREM V, CEV V or equivalent emission regulations.
  • Proven experience leading R&D teams, technology development programs, and customer-facing technical projects.
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs, catalyst manufacturers, specialty chemicals, advanced materials, or clean-energy technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to support technology transfer, product localization, and commercialization activities.
  • Fluent business English required.
  • 日本国籍必須。
