Job Description

Financial Accounting & Control

  • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of local financial statements, ensuring full compliance with statutory and group requirements
  • Manage end-to-end accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, inventory, fixed assets) and strengthen internal controls and governance
  • Lead physical inventory and fixed asset verification processes
  • Act as the key finance contact for local and regional stakeholders on accounting treatments and financial data



Business Partnering & Insights

  • Provide financial insights to support management decision-making and highlight operational risks/opportunities
  • Partner closely with Market CFO and regional teams on business performance



Tax & Compliance

  • Lead local tax filings (CIT, VAT, WHT, TP) and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors for statutory audits and tax reviews
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impact



Treasury & Operations

  • Manage banking relationships and daily treasury operations
  • Support dividend distribution and related activities



Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and develop the local finance team, fostering a collaborative "one team" culture
  • Drive process improvements and finance-related projects
  • Act as Taiwan SME and liaison with regional finance teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in the retail industry is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective leadership abilities to manage and develop a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
