Job Description

  • Advocate for public policies and regulatory frameworks that align with and support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Proactively influence the development, amendment, or prevention of legislation and regulations that may impact the company's operations.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen productive relationships with government officials, regulators, legislators, and industry associations.
  • Represent the company in meetings, forums, and discussions with external stakeholders to ensure the company's interests are effectively communicated and considered.
  • Act as a key point of contact for communication with government bodies during crisis or sensitive situations to minimize potential business and reputational impact.
  • Deliver consistent, accurate, and aligned messaging to external stakeholders in accordance with the company's overall communication and public affairs strategy.
  • Monitor relevant laws, regulations, and policy developments; provide timely updates and assessments to management.
  • Support the company in maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory requirements to reduce legal, financial, and operational risks.
  • Conduct high-quality analysis of government policies and regulatory trends, assessing their relevance and impact on business strategy.
  • Prepare clear, timely, and insightful reports for senior management on policy developments and potential implications.
