We are seeking a Senior/Staff System Validation Engineer to support the validation and deployment of advanced optical products. This role combines system validation, automation development, customer support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product quality and successful customer adoption.
  • Work on cutting-edge 400G/800G/1.6T optical networking technologies.
  • Collaborate with global teams and Tier-1 customers on high-impact projects.

Job Description

  • Execute software regression testing and maintain validation plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
  • Develop and enhance testing tools and scripts for optical module and system validation.
  • Perform interoperability testing between optical transceivers and network equipment, including data centre switches.
  • Support qualification and validation activities for software releases and configuration updates.
  • Generate technical reports, application notes, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Collaborate with field teams, application engineers, and global development groups to resolve product and system issues.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based test automation for evaluation platforms and optical modules.
  • Support Tier-1 customers with technical troubleshooting and validation activities.
  • Deliver technical training sessions for internal teams and external customers.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer requirements to support product strategy.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience developing automated test solutions for Server or networking product using Python.
  • Experience working with networking and optical test equipment such as DCA, CDR, protocol analyzers, traffic generators, BER testers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Hands-on debugging and software development experience.
  • Strong project management, customer-facing, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
