This role is responsible for driving new business development across energy, ESG, and smart infrastructure solutions in Taiwan. You will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, while collaborating closely with technical and delivery teams.

Our client is an innovative technology company focused on AIoT-based energy management and sustainability solutions. They partner with enterprises and public sector organizations to accelerate digital transformation, improve energy efficiency, and support ESG and net-zero initiatives.

Job Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, commercial buildings, healthcare, education, retail, datacenters, and public sector
  • Conduct client needs analysis related to energy usage, ESG, carbon management, and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, engineering, and product teams to deliver customized solutions and ROI analysis
  • Prepare proposals, RFP/RFI responses, pricing, and contract negotiations including SaaS and ESCO models
  • Build and maintain partnerships with telecom operators, system integrators (SI), equipment vendors, and industry associations
  • Drive project execution alongside delivery teams, ensuring successful implementation, training, and client adoption
  • Expand existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell (e.g., energy storage, EV charging, carbon management modules)
  • Monitor market trends including regulations, pricing, subsidies, and competitor activities
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets, including new customer acquisition and revenue growth



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience
  • At least 2 years in energy management, IoT, SaaS, cloud, automation, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of energy systems, ESG, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 50001 / 14064), or Taiwan electricity structure is preferred
  • Proven ability to manage full sales cycles including proposal, negotiation, and closing
  • Experience with government or enterprise tender processes is advantageous
  • Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Existing network in target industries or SI/ESCO channels is highly desirable
  • Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, BACnet) is a plus
