We are seeking an experienced Application Leader to drive application development and market adoption for advanced electronics materials of substrate materials. This role will lead a geographically diverse team, collaborate with customers and industry partners worldwide, and translate market needs into commercially successful solutions and technology roadmaps.

Job Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global application team across Asia, North America, and Europe.
  • Establish and execute application strategies aligned with business objectives, technology plans, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Engage with OEMs, fabricators, and ecosystem partners to identify market opportunities and emerging customer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, business development, R&D, and manufacturing teams to evaluate opportunities and prioritise development projects.
  • Support new product introduction and commercialisation through customer-facing technical engagement and application development activities.
  • Manage a global opportunity pipeline with clear project priorities, milestones, resource planning, and expected business outcomes.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and technology advancements to strengthen market positioning.
  • Present project updates, strategic recommendations, and business opportunities to senior management and key stakeholders.



The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within substrates materials, PCB, electronics materials, or closely related industries.
  • Proven track record of leading regional or global technical teams and developing talent across multiple locations.
  • Strong ability to convert customer insights and market demands into technical programmes and commercial solutions.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, project leadership, problem-solving, and prioritisation capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including customer presentations and executive reporting.
  • Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin.
  • Comfortable operating in a cross-cultural environment and travelling internationally when required.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn emerging technologies.
