This role combines the responsibilities of a Senior Field Application Engineer, Technical Consultant and Customer Support Specialist, supporting customers throughout the product evaluation, implementation and optimization lifecycle.You will work closely with semiconductor, SMT and advanced manufacturing customers, providing technical expertise, troubleshooting support, product demonstrations and application development to maximize customer success.

Job Description

  • Provide technical, application and troubleshooting support for customers and field teams.
  • Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to support strategic customer opportunities and business growth.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, customer evaluations and technical presentations.
  • Develop testing plans and validation strategies together with customers and end users.
  • Analyze customer applications and recommend process optimization solutions.
  • Deliver technical training programs for customers, distributors and internal stakeholders.
  • Collect and analyze market trends, competitor technologies and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with global teams and R&D functions on product enhancement opportunities.
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate project results to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support trade shows, technical seminars and industry events.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within semiconductor, SMT, electronics manufacturing or industrial equipment industries.
  • Experience as a Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Customer Engineer or related technical customer-facing role.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, SMT processes or industrial automation equipment.
  • Fluid dispensing, coating, packaging or related process experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities with customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-based environment.
  • Good spoken English and experience communicating with global stakeholders.
