Job Description

  • Design and develop high-power switching power supplies
  • Define system architecture based on application requirements
  • Select suitable topologies such as Vienna and LLC
  • Plan and execute project timelines and development stages
  • Build and debug prototype hardware units
  • Perform safety compliance and EMC design evaluation
  • Conduct validation testing and performance verification
  • Evaluate manufacturability and production readiness
  • Assess and qualify electronic components
  • Optimise circuit performance, efficiency, and thermal behaviour
  • Support transition from development to mass production

The Successful Applicant

Qualification

  • Degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Solid understanding of analogue, digital, and power electronics
  • Hands-on experience in circuit design and lab testing
  • Familiar with common power topologies and key components
  • At least 3 years' experience in relevant hardware development
  • Proven experience delivering full-cycle development projects
  • Experience in high-power DC systems is advantageous
  • Background in EV charging, server PSU, or telecom power preferred
  • Experience in testing, validation, and electrical measurements
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability



Preferred Skills

  • Deep knowledge of power electronics design
  • Experience in component selection and circuit optimisation
  • Understanding of motor control or digital control systems
  • Familiarity with PCB tools such as Altium or OrCAD
