This role is for a Senior Field Applications Engineer specialising in photonic IC ATE solutions. You will partner directly with customers to design, optimise, and deploy advanced test systems while also contributing to business growth across Asia. Job Description

  • Support key customers in Asia within optical communication, including IC developers, manufacturers, and testing service providers
  • Develop and optimise photonic IC ATE test solutions across R&D, validation, and mass production stages
  • Analyse customer requirements and deliver tailored technical recommendations
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept testing, and on-site technical evaluations
  • Design and build complex test setups, generating data to support solution validation
  • Provide automation support including test flow optimisation and debugging
  • Prepare technical proposals outlining solution architecture and value proposition
  • Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to drive revenue growth
  • Deliver first- and second-level technical support and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer presentations



The Successful Applicant

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in ATE orphotonics testing-related roles
    • Strong understanding of optical testing across product life cycles (R&D, DVT, HVM)
    • Hands-on experience with photonics, optical communication, or high-speed IO testing equipment
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges independently
    • Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset
    • Comfortable working in a regional role with frequent travel
    • Commercial awareness with the ability to support business growth initiatives
