Job Description

  • Design innovative connector concepts aligned with product strategy and market needs.
  • Work closely with customers to capture functional and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with global R&D teams across US, Germany, Shanghai, and India.
  • Evaluate feasibility, manufacturability, and quality during early design stages.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Engineering, Quality, and other stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • Solid experience in connector or related product design.
  • Strong technical knowledge in materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly.
  • Proficient in CAD tools, Siemens NX is prefered. (FEM knowledge is a plus).
  • Comfortable working in global, cross-functional environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive projects across regions and coordinate effectively
  • Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
