Our client is a global leader in the luxury industry with a diverse portfolio of prestigious brands. The company delivers exceptional customer experiences through an extensive global retail footprint, strong omnichannel capabilities, and a commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. They are now looking for a Retail Director for one of its well-known brands in Taiwan.

Job Description

  • P&L ownership of the department and execute the retail strategy to achieve sales and business objectives.
  • Partner closely with regional leadership teams on strategic initiatives that strengthen market presence and business growth.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate teams to drive results, engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Manage relationships with key landlords and commercial partners.
  • Develop and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts across all business channels.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and improve business outcomes.
  • Develop initiatives focused on training, coaching, and employee engagement to enhance customer experience and service standards.
  • Build high-performing teams through effective coaching, performance management, and employee development.

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience in retail management, business development, brand management, or related commercial leadership roles in retail or luxury industry
  • Familiar with Taiwan Department Stores and experience in manage 5 POS or above
  • Proven ability to operate successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong decision-making and execution capabilities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and opportunity-driven approach to business challenges.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to support strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Strong alignment with organizational values, customer-centric principles, and long-term business objectives.
