This role leads financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across manufacturing plants in the Asia Pacific region. This role will partner with regional supply chain and operations leaders to drive cost optimization, operational efficiency, strategic investments, and margin improvement through data-driven financial insights.

Job Description

Regional Manufacturing Finance Leadership

  • Lead the supply chain finance function across manufacturing plants in APAC.
  • Provide financial oversight for plant operations including cost performance, operational efficiency, and capital investment decisions.
  • Partner with regional operations leaders to drive financial discipline and performance improvement across the manufacturing network.
  • Act as the strategic finance partner to regional supply chain and plant leadership.
  • Translate operational metrics (capacity utilization, yield, productivity, waste, logistics costs) into financial insights that support decision making.
  • Support plant leadership in margin improvement, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives.



Financial Planning & Performance Management

  • Lead regional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor plant performance against financial targets including COGS, manufacturing variances, inventory turns, and cost absorption.
  • Drive performance review cadence with plant leadership teams and regional executives.
  • Identify and drive cost improvement initiatives across procurement, production, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Provide financial analysis for make-vs-buy decisions, network optimization, and supply chain investments.
  • Support initiatives related to lean manufacturing, productivity improvements, and supply chain digitalization.
  • Lead financial evaluation of capex projects, plant expansion, automation investments, and manufacturing footprint optimization.
  • Provide ROI and financial modeling to support strategic investment decisions.
  • Ensure capital projects align with regional growth strategy and return expectations.



Regional Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of cost finance analysts located across multiple countries.
  • Build strong financial capabilities across the regional team and establish consistent financial processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative remote team culture across APAC.

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, supply chain finance, or plant controlling within multinational companies.
  • Strong experience supporting multi-plant operations across multiple countries.
  • Proven ability to lead remote regional teams and influence senior operations leaders.
  • Strong analytical capability in cost management, operational finance, and capital investment evaluation.
  • Experience in consumer manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
