We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join the power design team supporting server and AI infrastructure platforms. This role will focus on the development, validation, and optimisation of high-efficiency power supply solutions for enterprise and hyperscale server applications.

Job Description

  • Design and develop server power supply units (PSU) ranging from medium to high power applications.
  • Perform circuit design, simulation, schematic creation, and component selection.
  • Conduct power architecture analysis, efficiency optimisation, and thermal evaluation.
  • Drive product development from concept, prototype validation, EVT/DVT/PVT through mass production.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, firmware, system, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Support customer technical reviews and resolve design-related issues during development and production stages.
  • Analyse reliability, safety, compliance, and performance requirements for server power products.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners on component qualification and cost optimisation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of hardware design experience in power electronics, power supply, or related products.
  • Strong knowledge of AC-DC, DC-DC, Switching Power Supply (SMPS), PFC, LLC, and power conversion technologies.
  • Experience with schematic and PCB review, circuit simulation, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with server, networking, telecom, industrial power, or data centre power products is preferred.
  • Understanding of power integrity, signal integrity, EMC, thermal, and reliability considerations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Mandarin are preferred.
