This role leads supplier negotiations, cost‑reduction initiatives and commodity strategy to ensure competitive pricing and supply continuity. It partners closely with GCM, engineering and business units to optimise BOM cost from early design through mass production.

The business offers broad exposure to global suppliers, complex projects and long‑term commodity strategy development.

Job Description

  • Lead regular price negotiations with key suppliers and drive implementation of new pricing
  • Deliver cost‑reduction projections, alternate part proposals and forward pricing for key projects
  • Monitor and report PPV/NMI performance and support monthly senior management reviews
  • Drive material programme reviews, BOM cost optimisation and MPM execution with stakeholders
  • Develop and present long‑term commodity strategies, market outlooks and action plans

The Successful Applicant

  • Solid commodity and procurement knowledge with understanding of market trends
  • Proven negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with BOMs, cost models and supplier performance data
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident presenter with effective Excel and PowerPoint skills
