Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with customers and suppliers, including long‑term supply contracts.
  • Ensure proper contract administration and documentation.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of corporate documents for local entities.
  • Assist the Company Secretary and eventually take on Company Secretary responsibilities for other affiliated entities in Taiwan.
  • Participate in board and shareholder meetings; prepare minutes and corporate resolutions.
  • Ensure business activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Monitor and communicate updates to relevant legislation, regulatory developments, and case law.
  • Provide legal support for corporate initiatives, including potential investments, partnerships, and M&A activities.
  • Coordinate external counsel on litigation and dispute matters arising from day‑to‑day operations.
  • Manage matters related to patents, trademarks, trade names, and licensing relevant to company operations.
  • Deliver compliance training on antitrust, anti‑corruption, and code of conduct topics.
  • Serve as an ethics case investigator when assigned.

The Successful Applicant

  • Law degree from a recognized university.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience; a mix of law firm training and at least 3 years in-house at a multinational company preferred.
  • Taiwan or U.S. bar qualification preferred.
  • Mother toungue Mandarin and strong English communication skills required.
  • Strong business partnership mindset, ability to work independently, sound judgment, and comfort operating in a matrixed, international environment.
