This role leads the end-to-end development of socket, high-speed connector, and cable assembly products, from customer requirements to production release. You will drive design, validation, and qualification while collaborating closely with customers, sales, and global manufacturing teams.

Job Description

  • Lead product development from VOC, concept generation, feasibility study, and simulation to production release.
  • Design mechanical structures, create 2D/3D drawings, and conduct DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and product qualification.
  • Develop prototypes, perform validation testing, and present engineering proposals to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, PMs, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers across global locations.
  • Support production launch, resolve technical issues, and manage ECN/PCN documentation.

The Successful Applicant

You are an experienced mechanical engineer with strong expertise in connector or socket design and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. You are customer-focused, structured in problem-solving, comfortable working in global teams, and capable of balancing technical depth with business needs.
