Job Description



  • Strategic Leadership

    • Lead the development and execution of local marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and business priorities.
    • Drive brand strategy development and lifecycle management across assigned therapeutic areas or portfolios.
    • Ensure marketing strategies are customer-centric, insight-driven, and focused on delivering sustainable value.
    • Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, competitive activities, and healthcare policy developments to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Provide strategic input into market access, stakeholder engagement, and communication initiatives.



    Marketing Excellence

    • Establish and continuously enhance marketing capabilities, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
    • Promote data-driven decision making, omni-channel engagement, and digital innovation.
    • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve customer engagement, business effectiveness, and marketing execution.
    • Maintain strong knowledge of market developments, customer needs, and therapeutic area trends.
    • Drive forecasting accuracy, inventory planning, and resource optimization.



    Team Leadership and Talent Development

    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Support individual career development through coaching, feedback, succession planning, and capability-building programs.
    • Create an inclusive and empowering environment where employees can grow professionally and contribute meaningfully.
    • Ensure appropriate allocation of talent and resources to achieve business objectives.



    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Excellence, and other business functions to ensure aligned execution.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve patient outcomes and business performance.
    • Build strong internal and external networks to accelerate innovation and organizational effectiveness.
    • Influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels without relying on formal authority.



    External Stakeholder Engagement

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, advocacy groups, and strategic partners.
    • Support educational initiatives, scientific exchange, and stakeholder engagement activities.
    • Represent the organization in external forums and industry discussions when appropriate.


The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related industries.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or strategic marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving commercial objectives and driving business growth.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
  • Previous people leadership experience with a strong track record of talent development.
  • Experience in organizations undergoing transformation, digital innovation, or agile ways of working is preferred.
