Job Description

  • Lead technical reviews and manufacturing assessments for liquid cooling components, including cold plates and manifolds, ensuring designs are optimised for manufacturability, scalability, and long-term reliability.
  • Partner with engineering and supplier teams to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes such as brazing, welding, cleaning, leak detection, and assembly.
  • Develop process parameters, quality control methodologies, and risk management strategies to support both NPI and volume production.
  • Create, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process flow charts, PFMEA, control plans, testing specifications, and inspection standards.
  • Provide hands-on engineering support at supplier manufacturing sites across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
  • Drive NPI builds and production ramp activities, ensuring readiness of materials, tooling, fixtures, production lines, and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities for thermal component quality issues and implement structured root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Conduct supplier process audits and quality system assessments to ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield enhancement, DPPM reduction, process capability improvement, and manufacturing cost optimisation.
  • Work closely with global engineering, quality, sourcing, and operations teams to support successful product launches and sustained production performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in liquid cooling technologies, particularly cold plate and manifold design, manufacturing, or process development.
  • Deep understanding of thermal component manufacturing processes and quality control systems.
  • Proven success in driving process optimisation, yield improvement, and production readiness for thermal products.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills within complex manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of liquid cooling industry standards, reliability requirements, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers and contract manufacturers in high-volume production environments.
