Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and corporate legal documents across Taiwan and APAC operations
  • Provide practical and business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial, compliance, employment, and corporate governance matters
  • Support regional legal projects including IP protection initiatives, restructurings, entity integrations, and strategic business transactions
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including HR, operations, and business leaders to manage legal risks and resolve issues effectively
  • Lead legal compliance initiatives, internal training, and policy implementation across the region
  • Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of legal workflows, including the adoption of AI-enabled legal processes within a fast-paced multinational environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer in Taiwan or US with at least 7 years of legal experience, including in-house exposure within multinational environments
  • Strong experience in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and cross-border legal support, preferably within the semiconductor, technology, or advanced manufacturing industries
  • Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal risks and commercial objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in both English and Mandarin
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-driven professional with strong ownership and project management capabilities
  • Comfortable working across regional teams and leveraging technology or AI tools to improve legal operations and efficiency
