Job Description

  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, and Reliability Engineering.
  • Define technical strategies and engineering roadmaps for next-generation AI server and high-performance computing platforms.
  • Drive system-level mechanical architecture, structural design, thermal management, and reliability optimisation.
  • Collaborate with customers, programme management, electrical engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Own engineering execution from concept development through validation, qualification, and mass production.
  • Establish design standards, engineering best practices, and technology roadmaps that improve product quality and development efficiency.
  • Lead critical design reviews and engineering decision-making processes.
  • Support customer engagements, executive reviews, and technical discussions with key strategic accounts.
  • Manage resource planning, hiring, mentoring, succession planning, and organisational development.
  • Drive innovation in liquid cooling, advanced thermal solutions, high-density server design, and emerging AI infrastructure technologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 15+ years of mechanical engineering experience within server, data centre, enterprise computing, storage, networking, or related industries.
  • Proven leadership experience managing mechanical engineering organisations and technical managers.
  • Extensive hands-on experience developing AI servers, GPU servers, high-performance computing systems, or advanced enterprise server platforms.
  • Strong background in server mechanical architecture, thermal design, structural analysis, and product integration.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through full product development and high-volume manufacturing.
  • Deep knowledge of thermal management technologies, including air-cooled and liquid-cooled systems.
  • Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, qualification testing, and server platform validation.
  • Experience working directly with hyperscale customers, cloud service providers, or leading technology companies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
