Job Description

  • Lead the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of facility utility systems, including power, water, gas, chemical distribution, and wastewater treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements through close collaboration with government agencies and relevant authorities.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance programmes to maximise system reliability and minimise operational disruption.
  • Identify and implement energy efficiency and cost reduction initiatives to improve facility performance.
  • Manage utility-related budgets, resource planning, and expenditure tracking.
  • Oversee external service providers responsible for facility security and grounds maintenance.
  • Lead and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and operational personnel.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support business operations and infrastructure requirements.
  • Plan and deliver capital projects, including equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and new installations.
  • Coordinate emergency response activities related to utility and facility incidents.



The Successful Applicant

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities, utilities, or industrial infrastructure management.
    • At least 3 years of people management experience with a proven track record of leading technical teams.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, and building management systems.
    • Experience with wastewater treatment operations and boiler systems is highly desirable.
    • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
