Job Description

Market Access & Reimbursement Strategy

  • Develop and execute market access, pricing, reimbursement, and value strategies across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
  • Lead reimbursement planning, submission preparation, and payer engagement activities.
  • Build compelling value propositions based on clinical evidence, unmet needs, and healthcare system requirements.
  • Manage access projects, timelines, risks, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.



HTA, HEOR & Evidence Generation

  • Lead or support HTA dossiers, reimbursement submissions, and evidence packages.
  • Conduct clinical evidence assessment, comparator analysis, budget impact analysis, and cost-effectiveness evaluations.
  • Identify evidence gaps and develop strategies involving real-world evidence, epidemiology studies, and local data generation.
  • Translate complex clinical and economic evidence into actionable access recommendations.



Pricing & Policy Strategy

  • Monitor reimbursement reforms, pricing regulations, HTA developments, and healthcare policy trends.
  • Generate payer and policy insights to support portfolio planning and business decision-making.
  • Support policy-shaping initiatives through stakeholder mapping and healthcare system analysis.
  • Anticipate access risks and identify new reimbursement opportunities.



Business Planning & Strategic Analysis

  • Support forecasting, market sizing, scenario planning, and access-related financial assessments.
  • Evaluate pricing scenarios, patient eligibility assumptions, reimbursement timelines, and business impact.
  • Partner with commercial, medical, regulatory, finance, and regional/global teams to integrate access strategies into brand plans.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations to senior management.



Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop payer engagement strategies and negotiation materials.
  • Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders, HTA bodies, clinicians, patient organisations, and policy experts.
  • Drive alignment across local, regional, and global functions.
  • Present complex access, policy, and reimbursement topics in a clear and business-relevant manner.



The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree or above in Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Economics, Health Policy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 5-8 years of experience in Market Access, Value & Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, HTA, HEOR, Healthcare Policy, or related pharmaceutical functions.
  • Strong understanding of Taiwan healthcare and reimbursement systems; Hong Kong experience is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in reimbursement submissions, pricing strategy, payer engagement, or access planning.
  • Knowledge of HTA methodologies, health economics, budget impact modelling, value strategy, and evidence generation.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into business recommendations.
  • Experience working across cross-functional and regional stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in oncology, rare diseases, specialty care, or innovative therapies is highly desirable.
  • Cantonese language capability will be considered an advantage.
