Quality Director

This role is responsible for leading the global quality strategy, quality systems, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, customer quality, and reliability management functions across worldwide operations. The successful candidate will establish a preventive, data-driven quality culture while ensuring excellence throughout the product lifecycle from NPI through mass production and customer support.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute global quality strategies, governance frameworks, and long-term quality roadmaps across international manufacturing sites.
  • Lead quality management throughout the NPI lifecycle from Prototype, EVT, DVT, MVT to mass production while driving risk prevention initiatives.
  • Establish robust manufacturing quality systems covering incoming quality, process quality, final inspection, automation, and root cause corrective actions.
  • Manage customer quality performance, major escalations, audits, complaint resolution, and cross-functional improvement programmes.
  • Drive supplier quality, reliability engineering, compliance management, traceability, quality analytics, and digitalisation initiatives including QMS, MES, PLM, and ERP integration.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of quality management experience within electronics manufacturing, power supply, or EMS industries.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience managing quality organisations and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and tools including 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, DOE, 5 Why, and CAPA.
  • Proven experience managing international customers, supplier quality programmes, quality audits, and global stakeholder relationships, with strong English communication skills.
