This MIS Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, including user support, hardware/software management, server and network maintenance, and basic security tools.You will also have the opportunity to support internal systems, access control, and upcoming ERP/CRM rollouts, working closely with different functions in the Taipei head office.

Our client is a growing consumer-focused company with a strong presence in Taiwan and growing international exposure.

With its head office in Taipei, the business is investing in IT and systems to support continuous expansion, and is now looking for an MIS Engineer to strengthen its internal IT capability.

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day IT operations, including hardware/software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
  • Maintain and monitor server environments, backup routines, system health checks, and basic data protection activities.
  • Handle basic network administration tasks such as switch configuration, firewall rules, connectivity troubleshooting, and Wi-Fi support.
  • Administer internal systems and collaboration platforms, including account creation, access rights, and permission management.
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement, license renewals, and technical support when needed.
  • Support IT asset management, including inventory tracking, equipment lifecycle and documentation.
  • Participate in security-related activities such as antivirus management, patching, and adherence to internal IT policies.
  • Assist with upcoming ERP/CRM and internal system enhancement projects, helping to ensure smooth rollout and adoption across the business.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of experience in MIS, IT support, infrastructure, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows environments, basic server administration, and network troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable supporting end users, resolving issues across hardware, OS, applications, and connectivity.
  • Exposure to backup mechanisms, account/permission management, and basic security tools (e.g. antivirus, firewall rules) is highly preferred.
  • Any experience with ERP/CRM systems, system integration, or working with vendors on system rollouts will be a strong plus.
  • Service-minded, patient, and able to communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues.
