Job Description

  • Provide strategic and commercially focused legal support across Taiwan and regional business operations within a multinational and highly regulated environment
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements while advising stakeholders on legal, compliance, and regulatory matters
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams on business initiatives, risk assessment, and operational decision-making across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support regional legal projects involving data privacy, competition law, government-related matters, and other regulatory frameworks
  • Manage complex legal issues and cross-border transactions independently while balancing legal risk with practical business objectives
  • Collaborate with regional and global legal teams to drive consistency, strengthen compliance practices, and support organizational growth initiatives
  • Contribute to a business-oriented legal culture by delivering practical, solutions-driven advice in a fast-paced matrix organization

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer with strong post-qualification experience gained from both reputable law firms and multinational in-house environments preferred
  • Proven expertise in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory work within regulated or complex industries
  • Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory, data privacy, and cross-border legal matters across APAC markets
  • Business-oriented mindset with the ability to provide practical and commercially balanced legal solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English and Mandarin required
  • Independent, proactive, and adaptable professional who thrives in fast-paced multinational and matrixed organizations
  • Strong analytical judgment, risk assessment capability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
