Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a multinational manufacturing business, covering GL, AP/AR, treasury, taxation, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Lead and develop a small accounting team, ensuring accurate financial records, timely deliverables, and continuous process improvement.
  • Manage monthly and annual financial closing, including accruals, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and management reporting.
  • Oversee manufacturing costing and inventory valuation, including standard costing, cost allocation, variance analysis, and COGS reconciliation.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to analyze production costs, material consumption, labor expenses, and manufacturing overhead.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting through product cost simulations, cost assumptions, and operational financial analysis.
  • Manage cash flow planning, payment operations, banking activities, and working capital monitoring in collaboration with regional Finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies.
  • Coordinate statutory audits, tax filings, and external advisory matters while maintaining effective relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as a key Finance contact for ERP-related accounting processes, driving system improvements, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with regional Finance, Treasury, Tax, and cross-functional business leaders to support financial governance and business performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably within a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge across GL, AP/AR, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, and month-end closing.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
  • Familiar with IFRS, local accounting regulations, and internal control requirements.
  • Proven experience leading or supervising a small accounting team, with a hands-on and collaborative leadership style.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate financial data into practical operational insights.
  • Proficient in ERP systems; SAP or QAD experience would be an advantage.
  • Good command of English for communication with regional and Group Finance stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
