Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsJoin a leading FMCG company where procurement is viewed as a strategic partner.Providing excellent long-term career development within procurement.About Our ClientOur client is a globally recognized consumer goods manufacturer with more than a century of history and operations spanning over 170+ countries.The company owns a portfolio of market-leading everyday essentials and is well known for its strong commitment to innovation, operational excellence, sustainability, and talent development.Procurement plays a critical role in supporting its global supply chain transformation and continuous business growth.Job DescriptionManage strategic sourcing activities for key direct procurement categories, primarily packaging materials, supporting manufacturing sites across Taiwan and Hong Kong.Lead the complete Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, including supplier identification, RFI/RFP/RFQ management, commercial evaluation, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier onboarding.Develop and implement sourcing strategies that improve cost competitiveness, supply continuity, quality, and operational efficiency.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across manufacturing, operations, finance, and regional procurement teams.Ensure procurement data accuracy and maintain purchasing activities through ERP and procurement platforms such as SAP, Coupa, and other digital sourcing tools.Support procurement reporting, spend analysis, and category performance reviews to facilitate data-driven decision making.The Successful ApplicantTechnical CompetenciesMinimum 5 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments.Solid experience purchasing packaging materials (experience with pulp is advantageous but not mandatory).Strong understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies, supplier negotiation, contract management, and procurement best practices.Experience using SAP and procurement platforms such as Coupa.Strong analytical capability with excellent Excel proficiency.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate confidently with regional stakeholders.Soft SkillsStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy.Able to prioritize effectively and perform well under pressure.Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced multinational environment.What's on OfferJoin a globally respected FMCG organization with a stable business and internationally recognized brands.Regional procurement exposure.Opportunity to manage strategic sourcing projects with significant business impact.Work alongside experienced global procurement professionals in a collaborative environment.Exposure to advanced procurement systems and digital transformation initiatives.Clear career progression opportunities within regional and global procurement functions.Competitive compensation and comprehensive employee benefits offered by a multinational organization.This is a permanent role offering a chance to grow your career in procurement.
