About Our Client



We are seeking a hands-on Controlling Manager with a strong accounting foundation and solid experience in financial reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial statements, timely closing, and high-quality reporting to regional / global headquarters.

The position suits professionals who are comfortable owning core accounting topics while also acting as a finance partner to management through reliable financial insights and controls.

Job Description



Accounting & Closing

  • Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of full set of accounts
  • Maintain compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and manage audit deliverables



Financial Reporting & Group Reporting

  • Prepare and review statutory and management reports
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to regional / global HQ
  • Support group reporting requirements and ensure alignment with group policies
  • Act as key contact for HQ on accounting and reporting matters



Controlling & Finance Support

  • Monitor financial performance and explain variances with clear logic
  • Support budgeting and forecasting from a controlling perspective
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure financial discipline
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and financial insights when required



Process & Control

  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting and reporting processes
  • Support implementation or optimization of ERP / reporting tools

The Successful Applicant



Must-Have

  • 8-12+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or controlling
  • Strong hands-on experience in month-end closing and financial reporting
  • Solid knowledge of local GAAP and statutory reporting
  • Experience in multinational or HQ-reporting environments
  • Fluent in English, able to communicate confidently with overseas stakeholders
  • Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail



Preferred

  • Experience with group reporting tools (e.g. HFM or similar systems)
  • ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or equivalent)
  • Big 4 background combined with in-house accounting or controlling experience
  • Experience working in lean organizations with broad responsibility
