Job Description

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, software updates, and system upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electro-mechanical medical systems.
  • Support system installation, commissioning, and equipment deployment.
  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff.
  • Deliver technical training and product support to customers.
  • Conduct hospital site assessments and support instrument reprocessing standards.
  • Investigate product issues and provide technical solutions and feedback.
  • Manage service reports, inventory, documentation, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, and Technical teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide on-call support and manage customer needs within the assigned territory.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of Field Service Engineer experience in the medical device industry.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electromechanical equipment.
  • Experience supporting hospital or operating room environments.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver technical training and support.
  • Able to travel frequently within assigned territory.
