Job Description

  • Lead and scale a high-performing firmware organization responsible for platform firmware development across High-End Servers, Edge Servers, and AI Server products.
  • Partner closely with global engineering teams including Core Firmware, Hardware Design, Thermal Engineering, Power Engineering, I/O Engineering, Product Assurance, Manufacturing, and Customer Support organizations.
  • Ensure firmware deliverables meet aggressive product schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Define and execute platform-specific firmware features that differentiate next-generation server portfolio.
  • Lead multiple firmware project managers and engineering teams across concurrent development programs.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders across North America, Europe, and Asia.
  • Drive technical and operational excellence through effective planning, risk management, resource allocation, and project governance.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align engineering execution with broader business objectives.
  • Support product lifecycle management including sustaining engineering, issue resolution, and customer escalations.
  • Develop talent strategies to attract, retain, mentor, and grow world-class firmware engineering leaders and technical experts.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the firmware organization in leadership reviews, customer engagements, and strategic planning discussions.



The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a proven engineering leader with extensive experience leading global firmware or platform development organizations within enterprise technology, datacenter infrastructure, server, or related industries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of program or project management experience with a demonstrated track record of successful product delivery.
  • Minimum 3 years of people management experience leading engineering or product development teams.
  • Strong understanding of firmware development environments, platform architecture, and complex hardware-software integration.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographic regions and time zones.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement.
  • Ability to influence, align, and drive execution across diverse technical and business organizations.
  • Experience within server, infrastructure, datacenter, embedded systems, or enterprise technology environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of product development, supply chain, manufacturing, and product lifecycle management would be advantageous.
  • Results-oriented leadership style with strong business acumen and strategic thinking capability.
  • Passion for developing talent and building high-performing global teams.
