Job Description

  • Lead financial controlling for major manufacturing and CAPEX projects, overseeing budgets, cash flow, commitments, forecasts, and overall project performance.
  • Provide financial governance for large-scale investments, identifying cost variances, risks, and opportunities while ensuring timely escalation and corrective actions.
  • Perform scenario modelling, cost-to-complete analysis, investment tracking, and post-investment reviews to support effective capital allocation.
  • Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leaders on budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and performance management across global operations.
  • Translate operational and financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders and support strategic resource allocation decisions.
  • Drive digitalization of production controlling through automated reporting, improved workflows, and enhanced data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, and project teams across regional and global functions to improve financial processes and project visibility.
  • Support manufacturing profitability initiatives through cost-saving analysis, performance reviews, and financial consolidation.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or project finance, ideally within manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, or other complex industrial environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in CAPEX management, including investment tracking, cost control, cash flow forecasting, and financial governance.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance analysis.
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities; experience with ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable partnering across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and project teams within a global matrix organization.
  • Strong ownership, commercial judgment, and risk management capabilities, with the confidence to challenge assumptions when required.
  • Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
