About Our Client

A PE-backed biotech organization with strong international footprint, focused on advanced technologies and manufacturing capabilities. The business is in a critical growth phase, driving toward capital market milestones.

This is a hands-on Accounting Lead position overseeing financial reporting, closing cycles, and operational accounting within a fast-evolving biotech environment.

You will act as the key finance representative in Taiwan, working closely with global stakeholders to support IPO readiness, reporting enhancement, and scalable finance operations across jurisdictions.

Job Description

  • Oversee full-cycle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
  • Manage day-to-day GL operations and financial reporting deliverables
  • Align financials under dual standards (US GAAP & IFRS) and support reconciliation
  • Partner with global finance leadership on IPO readiness and reporting packages
  • Handle complex revenue accounting tied to multi-phase commercial agreements
  • Lead cost accounting and variance analysis to explain margin movements
  • Maintain inventory controls, reserves, and valuation accuracy
  • Act as main contact for external auditors and advisors, ensuring audit readiness
  • Support tax compliance, transfer pricing, and cross-border structures

The Successful Applicant

  • 6+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to manufacturing or life sciences industries
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (mandatory for cross-border communication)
  • Strong foundation in financial accounting, closing, and reporting
  • Experience working with regional/global teams is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • CPA (or in progress) and/or Big 4 background is a plus
