Job Description

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for a manufacturing plant, ensuring production schedules and customer commitments are achieved.
  • Lead demand planning, production planning, and capacity management to minimize supply disruptions and delivery risks.
  • Coordinate closely with manufacturing, sales, and operational teams to support volume growth and urgent customer requirements.
  • Manage procurement activities and supplier relationships, focusing on quality, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.
  • Develop inventory strategies to improve inventory health, reduce excess and obsolete stock, and optimize working capital.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Strong background in production planning, materials management, procurement, and logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop multifunctional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain optimization projects.
