Taipei City Permanent View Job Description
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced business leader to join a high-growth organisation that has achieved in less than a decade what many competitors take decades to accomplish. Working as the founder's second-in-command, you will help scale the business, strengthen operational excellence and build the foundations for its next phase of growth.
  • Lead company-wide operations as a future business successor
  • Work directly with the founder to scale and transform the business

About Our Client

My client is a fast-growing organisation operating within the media and digital content sector. Over a relatively short period, the business has established a market position and scale that many industry peers require significantly longer to achieve, driven by strong execution, innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Having reached a key stage in its evolution, the company is now focused on building greater organisational capability, operational sophistication and leadership depth to support continued expansion. This role represents a pivotal hire within the executive team and offers the opportunity to help shape the future direction of a business entering its next chapter of growth.

Job Description

* Partner with the founder and executive team to translate business strategy into measurable operational plans.
* Oversee day-to-day business operations and ensure effective execution across multiple functions.
* Align departmental objectives, priorities and performance metrics to support company-wide goals.
* Drive operational excellence through process optimisation, resource planning and workflow improvements.
* Lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
* Establish and monitor KPIs, management reporting and performance management frameworks.
* Support organisational development, leadership capability building and succession planning.
* Foster collaboration across commercial, marketing, product, content, finance and people functions.
* Identify growth opportunities, operational risks and improvement areas to strengthen business performance.
* Act as a trusted adviser to the founder while progressively assuming broader operational leadership responsibilities.

The Successful Applicant

* At least 10 years of experience in business operations, general management or executive leadership roles.
* Demonstrated responsibility for business performance, operational management or P&L ownership.
* Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and complex business initiatives.
* Strong capability in converting strategic priorities into operational plans, KPIs and measurable outcomes.
* Experience driving organisational effectiveness, process improvement and operational scalability.
* Track record of leading managers and developing high-performing teams.
* Strong commercial judgement, analytical skills and results-oriented decision making.
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What's on Offer

* Opportunity to act as the founder's trusted operational partner and future business successor.
* Significant influence over the strategic direction and operational performance of a high-growth organisation.
* Exposure to complex scaling challenges normally experienced by businesses at a much later stage of maturity.
