We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) to lead and oversee our company's environmental, health, and safety programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive strategies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, fostering a culture of safety, and minimizing environmental impact.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in all areas of environmental, health, and safety management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational planning and decision-making processes.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of EHS programs and initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a team of EHS professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies, participate in inspections, and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among employees.
  • Manage incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on EHS performance, initiatives, and compliance status.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of EHS management experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of EHS regulations and standards.
  • Professional certifications such as 甲安/ 甲衛/ 乙級證照 or above preferred.
