As part of this aggressive growth strategy, they are looking for a Vice President to be a decision maker and lead teams across the world.

Job Description

You will manage global business of market segment Electronics with hard financial KPIs (OI, REV, Gross Margin, etc) and direct report to Senior VP of Industry Management

  • Develop and implement the global industry segment strategy such as Industry Application & Technology, Product Portfolio, and Business Development
  • Ensure the execution of business plans in order to be a market leader in the existing market and responsible for displacing the competition, exploring and capitalizing new market potential
  • Definite, win, and satisfy target customers in collaboration with regions across the world
  • Develop industry expertise and market intelligence in determining strategy by gathering information, analyzing the market and monitoring the competition
  • Establish and maintain strategic alliances among target customers, systems integrators, technology partners and the global offices
  • Lead and manage global teams in matrix organization and ensure the implementation of business plans
  • Ability to be a bridge between customers, sales organization and HQ
  • Participate proactively in APEC's Extended Regional Leadership Team (E-RLT) meetings

The Successful Applicant

The role will be based in HQ in Europe for 3-6 months to get familiar with HQ team (Industry Management, R&D, marketing, product portfolio, Quality, Logistics, etc.)

  • Degree in industrial engineering or equivalent qualification
  • 5+ years of international experience in the field of sales/marketing/business development
  • 5+ years of experience leading the cross-cultural, international teams within a matrix organization Extensive knowledge and experience of electronics industry
  • Demonstrated capability of managing and negotiating a variety of internal and external stakeholders through facilitation and presentation in order to cooperate effectively
  • Highly developed decision making competence and intercultural skills Managerial role model with ability to inspire people to work towards a common goal and maintain high level of employees' motivation
  • Strong results orientation, planning and organization skills along with entrepreneurial spirit and outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and German & some Asian language is advantageous Sales-driven who are willing to travel and handle complicated situation
  • Experience in coping with demanding customers from fast paced industry
