Job Description

  • Vault Management and Security:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the vault, ensuring the secure storage and handling of valuable items, such as cash, documents, precious metals, or other high-value assets.
    • Implement and maintain strict security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or loss.

  • Inventory Control:
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to verify the accuracy of the vault's contents.
    • Maintain detailed records of all items stored in the vault, including tracking their movement in and out of the vault.

  • Transaction Processing:
    • Handle incoming and outgoing transactions involving the vault's contents, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented and processed according to established procedures.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting or customer service, to facilitate seamless transactions and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards governing the storage and handling of valuable items.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on vault activities, inventory levels, and security measures to management or regulatory authorities as required.

  • Security Equipment Management:
    • Monitor and maintain security systems and equipment, such as alarms, cameras, locks, and access control systems, to ensure they are functioning correctly.
    • Coordinate with security personnel or external vendors for regular maintenance, repairs, or upgrades of security equipment.

  • Emergency Response:
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans for the vault, including procedures for handling security breaches, natural disasters, or other emergencies.
    • Train staff on emergency procedures and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.

  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional service to clients or internal stakeholders who use the vault's services, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
    • Manage client relationships and ensure their satisfaction with the security and accessibility of their stored items.

  • Documentation and Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all vault activities, including transaction logs, inventory records, and security reports.
    • Ensure that all records are stored securely and can be easily retrieved for audits or inspections.

  • Team Collaboration and Training:
    • Work closely with other members of the security team or relevant departments to coordinate activities and ensure the vault operates smoothly.
    • Provide training and guidance to new or existing staff on vault procedures, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Passionate in high jewelry category
  • Good learning agility and hungry to learn
  • Candidate with GIA diploma could be a plus
  • Young talent just graduating from school could be acceptable, but should have more selling points in traits
