About Our Client

Our client is a well-known consumer group with diversified product portfolio. They are confident to Taiwan market and plan to expand their footprint to Taiwan. They are now looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to oversee total channels in Taiwan.

Job Description

  • Strategic Communication Planning: Collaborate closely with M&S and other supporting departments to develop and execute strategic trade communication plans aimed at enhancing retailer brand awareness.
  • Retail Brand Visibility Management: Oversee the strategy for retail brand visibility, ensuring close coordination with field teams.
  • Multi-Channel Trade Programs: Design and implement multi-channel trade programs and activities, evaluating their effectiveness against KPIs, monitoring results, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Field Marketing Support: Validate and support bottom-up field marketing campaigns to ensure effective field executions.
  • Project Leadership and Coordination: Organize and lead projects, coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze results and trends to identify issues and opportunities, ensuring continuous improvement in channel performance.
  • Trade Communication Calendar: Develop and manage an annual calendar for trade cycle communications aligned with company strategic plans and portfolio initiatives.
  • Toolbox Platform Implementation: Oversee the implementation of the toolbox platform from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with field teams, managing timelines and budgets, and monitoring effectiveness for continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Program Management: Utilize advanced data-driven program management techniques to optimize decision-making based on trade needs.
  • Channel Management Support: Assist channel management in meeting preparations as needed to enhance trade relationships.
  • Resource Allocation and Budget Management: Ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization for trade development, maximizing budget efficiency and managing budget tracking and reporting to support agreed-upon strategies

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years solid trade marketing experience in well-known FMCG companies.
  • Familiar with Taiwan channels including Modern Trade and General Trade.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Sensitive to numbers with good data analysis
  • Experience in collaborating closely with business partners (i.e. vendors)
  • Proven track record of cross functional coorindation with strong influencing skills
