Job Description

  • Develop a deep understanding and insights of the responsible function and people populations to assess the functional and people needs. Partner with people leaders to propose recommendations and implement prioritized action plans that bridge gaps between current capabilities and future business needs, enhancing organization performance and employee engagement. Utilize business acumen and ethical judgment to safeguard company values and assets, assess/report risks, and address issues proactively.
  • Provide advice, consultation, and guidance to people leaders on all aspects of HR services including policies, practices, and processes to managers. Ensure communication and management of HR processes supporting the business cycle and strategy (Workforce Planning, Performance Management and Annual Compensation Review, Organization design, and Talent Development and Succession reviews).
  • Serve as a reliable partner for employees, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment and leading employee case handling which follows corporate policies/guidance and legal requirements. Drive further development of workplace policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with corporate policies and local legislation/regulations.
  • Contribute to HR projects and assist in HR-related ad-hoc projects, and employee experiences improvement as subject matter experts to share insights, challenge perspectives, and provide innovative HR solutions,s and professional consultation. Collaborate with global/regional HR community, including Global HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Learning as well as HR operations team to deliver high-quality results.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 8+ years of professional HRBP experience and 5+ years experience in specialist roles.
  • Bachelor / Master degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Broad experience in multinational internal customers/business units environment, preferably experience in manufacturing settings.
  • Profound knowledge of the Taiwan labor law and employment principles.
  • Experience of partnering with the senior management team and ensuring value-added HR support to the business.
  • Strategic mindset paired with a high sense of execution and teamwork.
  • Ability to build trust and drive change and engagements in a culturally diverse, changing environment, willingness to go the 'extra mile.
  • Proficient user of HR databases/systems and Experience/knowledge of preparing workforce analysis to drive business decisions and people strategy.
  • Accountable personality with a structured and pragmatic working style
  • Goal-orientated with a growth mindset, and the ability to handle sensitive information
  • Ability to be a self-starter and develop things autonomously, using previous experience, institutionalizing processes with a spirit of entrepreneurship
  • Fluency in both English & Chinese
