Job Description

This role is responsible for leading the manufacturing test strategy and execution across SMT and FATP stages for multiple product lines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and implementing test plans from EVT/DVT/PVT through mass production.
  • Developing and deploying both automated and manual test solutions.
  • Ensuring readiness of test stations, operator training, fixture qualification, and debug support at contract manufacturers.
  • Monitoring test coverage, yield, and throughput, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Analyzing test data and systemic failures, leading root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Providing DFT/DFM feedback early in the design phase.
  • Overseeing factory builds and enforcing disciplined execution during NPI and MP phases.

The Successful Applicant

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing test engineering, especially in SMT and FATP environments.
  • Proven experience supporting product development from EVT/DVT/PVT to MP.
  • Strong knowledge of RF testing (TX/RX), camera module verification, acoustic/audio measurements, and wireless protocols (WiFi/Bluetooth).
  • Skilled in test data analysis, root cause investigation, and yield management.
  • Solid understanding of quality principles like SPC, FMEA, and GR&R.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English with strong cross-functional communication skills.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Arena for issue tracking and document management.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or with startups, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Experience managing factory test readiness and collaborating with global CMs.
  • Knowledge of DFM/DFT and product reliability standards.
  • Background in consumer hardware or IoT product testing from EVT to MP.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g., FCC, CE) and reliability testing standards.
