Job Description

  • Process Engineering & Optimization: Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for electronics products, with a focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Automation Management: Oversee automation initiatives to streamline production processes, reduce manual labor, and enhance productivity. Collaborate with technical teams to integrate new automation technologies.
  • Supplier Quality Control: Establish and manage supplier quality control protocols to ensure that all components and materials meet company's standards. Conduct regular supplier audits and quality assessments.
  • Production Management: Lead production operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets, maintain product quality, and adhere to timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles, reducing waste, and improving overall process efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and procedures, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions on production issues to ensure consistent quality across all products.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, procurement, and supply chain teams to support new product introductions and manage design-for-manufacturability.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations and standards. Maintain thorough documentation of all process changes, quality metrics, and compliance audits.
  • Travel Requirements: Conduct frequent business travel (30-40% annually) to visit suppliers, support production facilities, and collaborate with international teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in electronics manufacturing, with a focus on process engineering, automation, and supplier quality control. Experience in a managerial role is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in automation management, process optimization, and quality control practices specific to electronics manufacturing.
  • Quality Control Knowledge: Strong understanding of supplier quality management, quality assurance processes, and root cause analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing cross-functional teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and supplier interactions.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel internationally for business purposes (30-40% annually).
