Job Description



  • Lead raw material qualification and second-source development initiatives.


  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and analytical teams to implement new raw material technologies.


  • Establish and enhance incoming quality control processes and testing protocols.


  • Evaluate and improve raw material specifications using tools such as FMEA, gage studies, and root cause analysis.


  • Support commercialization efforts by refining raw material and process performance.


  • Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure raw material quality and performance.


  • Deliver clear technical updates and reports to various levels of the organization.



The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.


  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or lab environments, ideally in the semiconductor, specialty chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.


  • Proficient in Japanese, Mandarin, and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-regional collaboration.


  • Skilled in data-driven analytical tools like SPC, FMEA, DOE, JMP, minitab.


  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize multiple tasks, and build productive relationships across R&D, manufacturing, and supplier networks.
