About Our Client

Our client is a prominent pharmaceutical company with pipelines spanning Central Nervous System (CNS), Oncology, and Immunology. With a commitment to advancing medical science, our client aims to address unmet medical needs across various therapeutic areas. Currently, we are seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to focus on our dementia product within the CNS portfolio.

Job Description

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions in Taiwan, particularly those involved in dementia research and treatment.
  • Serve as the primary scientific resource for medical inquiries related to our dementia product, providing accurate and up-to-date scientific information to healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver scientific presentations on dementia-related topics and participate in conferences, symposia, and advisory boards to engage with healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Marketing, to support the development and execution of medical strategies and initiatives for the dementia product.
  • Identify and communicate medical insights and emerging trends in dementia to internal stakeholders, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Stay informed about the latest scientific literature, clinical data, and competitor activities within dementia to maintain a deep understanding of the therapeutic landscape.
  • Provide medical education and training to internal stakeholders, including sales teams, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the dementia product and therapeutic area.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies governing medical affairs activities, with a focus on the dementia product.

The Successful Applicant

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a focus on CNS disorders such as dementia.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and regulatory environment in Taiwan, with specific knowledge of dementia.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information related to dementia to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals in the field of dementia.
  • Proven track record of collaboration within cross-functional teams, driving impactful medical initiatives and strategies within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to strict timelines and priorities.
  • Fluent proficiency in both Mandarin and English
