Job Description

  • Lead mechanical design and simulation of fitness equipment components
  • Use CAE tools (Ansys, CFD, FEA) to analyze vibration, fatigue, and stress
  • Predict product lifecycle and failure modes through simulation
  • Write test plans, analyze results, and present findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design and manufacturability
  • Support prototype builds and validate design through testing
  • Mentor junior engineers in simulation and analysis best practices

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical design and simulation
  • Strong fundamentals in statics, dynamics, material science, and fatigue analysis
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D MCAD tools
  • Experience with PLM and ECN processes (Windchill preferred)
  • Ability to communicate technical insights clearly through reports and presentations
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and project leadership skills
