About Our Client

Our client is a global company with offices and R&D teams around the world, serving clients in various industries, including top Fortune 500 companies, and providing tech support to government and educational institutions.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain both new and existing production systems.
  • Enhance and streamline CI/CD workflows.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize development life cycles.
  • Research, recommend, and integrate new technologies or solutions for improved efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, especially on a medium or large scale.
  • Proficient with open-source solutions, particularly those related to CNCF.
  • Preferred Experience:
    - Container optimization and security improvement.
    - Service mesh experience.
    - Kubernetes multi-cluster management.
    - Experience with GitLab/GitLab CI.
    - Experience with other cloud providers (GCP, Azure, OCI).
    - Familiarity with GKE, AKE, and OKE.
    - General IT experience.
    - Programming experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
    - Kubernetes and container technologies (e.g., On-premise Kubernetes, EKS, Thanos, Rancher).
    - Enhancing security in Kubernetes environments and CI/CD workflows (DevSecOps).
    - IaC tools (e.g., Terraform 1.0+, Helm 3.0+).
    - CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo, Jenkins, Atlantis).
    - In-depth monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Zabbix).
    - Kubernetes log analysis and consolidation (e.g., ELK, EFK, Fluentbit/Fluentd, APM solutions).
    - Load and performance testing tools (e.g., Grafana k6).
  • Participate in on-call rotations weekly or bi-weekly (12-hour shifts from 10:00-22:00 or 11:00-23:00 CST).
