About Our Client

My client is a leading multinational company specializing in PC peripherals, recognized for its strong business performance.

Job Description



  • Crafting Software Requirements: Work closely with Global Product Managers, Development Project Managers, Quality Engineers, and suppliers to convert high-level product concepts into detailed Software Engineering Requirement Specifications.


  • Managing External Partners: Lead and coordinate development efforts with suppliers, engineering teams, and quality engineers to ensure successful project outcomes.


  • Project Planning and Oversight: Establish and maintain a detailed Work Breakdown Structure and project plan, using Key Performance Indicators to track and report project progress to all stakeholders.


  • Guiding and Mentoring Teams: Provide leadership and coaching to developers, focusing on software design, system architecture, team collaboration, and effective technical communication.


  • Enhancing Development Processes: Continuously improve software development workflows by integrating feedback, ensuring a balance between team autonomy and cohesive coordination.


  • Shaping Technology Direction: Define and implement a strategic technology roadmap for platforms like MS Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android OS.


  • Defining Brand Software Strategy: Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to establish and drive the vision and strategy for proprietary software solutions.


  • Leading a Development Team: Manage a software development team of 5 members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.


  • Fostering Innovation: Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous learning by exploring new technologies and their potential integration into the company's product offerings.



The Successful Applicant

  • Over 20 years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • Extensive background in software development, with added experience in software system analysis being advantageous.
  • Proven track record in converting raw product requirements into detailed software architectures and designs, with additional experience in building projects from the ground up being a bonus.
  • Deep understanding of professional software engineering practices and best practices throughout the entire software development life cycle.
  • Strong skills in project management.
  • Expertise in developing cross-platform desktop applications.
  • Familiarity with system design and development for Windows, Mac OS, iOS, or Android OS is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership in software engineering, with specific strengths in: · System architecture, design, and implementation · Software design, coding, and verification/validation · Project and team management · Development platform/tools specification, deployment, and maintenance
