Job Description

  • Tailor Windows device drivers and associated tools for customer platforms.
  • Deliver new features, updates, and bug fixes to customers.
  • Triage, reproduce, and debug customer-reported issues.
  • Assist customers with integrating Windows device drivers.
  • Evaluate customer schematics from software and driver perspectives.
  • Set up new devices and reference platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with factory and field applications teams to support customer engagements.
  • Coordinate with other teams such as Design, Firmware, SQA, and Tools as necessary.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • More than 5 years of experience in deploying Windows device drivers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across different geographies, internal teams, and with external customers and partners.
  • Extensive experience in Windows kernel software development, driver integration, PC system bring-up, and ACPI.
  • Skilled in addressing OS architectural issues, including race conditions, synchronisation, deadlocks, and interrupt management.
  • Knowledgeable about serial buses and protocols like I2C, SPI, I2S, HDA, and SoundWire.
