Job Description

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define testing requirements and ensure coverage.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Document and track bugs using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for scalability and reliability.
  • Stay current with QA automation trends and tools to continuously improve testing methodologies.
  • Support integration testing and contribute to system-level quality assurance.
  • Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders across teams.

The Successful Applicant

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and experience reading API specifications.
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies including unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6, LoadRunner).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.



Preferred:

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or other technology-driven industries.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in cloud environments.
  • Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team-wide best practices.
